Courtney Love has long since been the focus of concern and speculation. From her problems with substance abuse, to allegations of child abuse, her name is never far from the media. But it is her weight loss that has been drawing attention lately, after she appeared looking pale, drawn, and impossibly thing during a day out in New York.
Love has struggled with eating disorders since before her days in the band Hole, though in a statement in 2007 she claimed that she had ‘taken care of’ it. It was a claim that seemed unlikely to most, as eating disorders take years of intensive treatment to overcome, and there had been no reports of Courtney being involved in a program.
That opinion seemed to be justified after her weight began to shift rapidly, going up and down seemingly month by month. Rumors of Love seeking surgeries began to surface, and she admitted to getting liposuction in her stomach, a procedure that caused her nothing but pain in the end.

But now her body has gone back to the ultra-thin form she sported back in her heroine days, and her doctors have been rumored to have been begging her to eat more. Whether or not she will take there advice, or better yet seek help, remains to be seen.
