Makers of the diet drug Alli ©, the first ever dietary supplement to be sold over the counter that has been clinically proven to lose weight (so, do Alli tablets work ? Yes! They do.) , have decided to add a specific diet to the drug itself. They are now offering a book of recipes that they say will allow users to lose two pounds a week, on top of the one pound a week already offered through Alli ©. It is one of the major lifestyle changed they say will help dieters keep the weight off long term, rather then going up and down in weight.
To write the recipe book GlaxoSmithKline, the pharmaceutical company that produced Alli ©, has hired noted nutritionist Fiona Wilcock. Wilcock has worked as a home economics teacher for a number of years, both in England and Kenya, and has since returned to the UK to attend Kings College London, where she received her degree in nutrition.
Since then she has been working on hundreds of recipes specifically designed to jump start and maintain weight loss, all of which were tried on herself and her own family. According to her, they are made as a part of a healthy lifestyle change that will allow those who buy the recipe book to change the way they approach food, rather then yo-yoing between nourishing foods and junk food.
Among the recipes are breakfasts, lunches, light lunches, light dinners, snacks, desserts, and various other genres that will give everyone a list of healthy choices that still offer favorite foods, and delicious tastes. It is available anywhere that Alli © is sold.
Alli © was developed as a way to effectively block fat from being absorbed into the body. It is the first weight management drug that has been approved by the FDA to be sold over the counter, without a prescription. Alli © can be bought at any major health or grocery branch, and Alli’s average cost is $69.99 per 120 capsules.
