appeconAppecon, or Phendimetrazine, is a drug that is similar in many ways to amphetemines. It is a powerful stimulant that effects the central nervous system, as well as the brain.

Elements of your body's function, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and metabolism can be effected by the use of Phendimetrazine, as it is a sympathomimetic amine.

 

 

What Is Appecon Used For ?

 There are several uses, however it is most commonly used as a short term treatment for obesity, when the patient has shown a resistance to other measures and medications. It is usually one of the last treatments used before more extreme intervention, such as surgery. It suppresses the appetite, increases energy, and boosts the metabolism. It is also a similar product to ephedra, which is a legal over the counter substance sold in many health stores.

What Are The Side Effects Of Appecon ?

 There are a number of side effects of using this drug. Some problems that may occur are:

  • Blurred vision
  • Headaches
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Hallucinations
  • Erratic behavior or thought
  • Aggression
  • Irregular heartbeats

If you experience any of these symptoms, you should discontinue use, call 911, or head to your local emergency room immediately, as they can be signs of a serious allergic reaction. If you suspect you have taken an overdose, or have taken more then is recommended, seek emergency assistance immediately. Side effects such as these can prove dangerous, or even fatal. Talk to your doctor about the other signs that you should look out for.

Less serious side effects may include:

  • Sleeplessness or insomnia
  • Anxiety
  • Mild headache
  • Dizziness
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Tremors

If you experience any of these side effects, be sure to tell your doctor. If you feel you may be developing a problem, call your doctor immediately. Appecon, like other stimulants, are potentially addictive. Do not take Appecon during the evening, as it can keep you from sleeping. If you miss a dose, and it is less then 14 hours to your next one, skip the dose and take the next as usual. Do not double your doses.

When Should I Not Take Appecon ?

 If you have been recently placed on an MAOI such as Marplan, Nardil, or if you are already on a stimulant, you should not take Appecon. Those who have a history of diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or other obesity related diseases should speak to their doctor before beginning use. You should not take this medication if you are taking any antidepressants without first consulting your physician.

If you have a history of drug abuse, or if you have been treated using stimulants in the past, be sure to include that with your medical history.
